Initiative finally counts
Monsters used to have zero initiative, so you always played first. Now turn order uses the Initiative on your character sheet, scaled by your current life, and monsters use their own.

Update 1.0.56 ·
Seven new fight challenges, the Firefoux Dungeon, guild treasuries, reworked shields and a stack of quality-of-life upgrades.
Fight challenges
Every fight against monsters offers you a challenge: beat it for bonus experience and drops. Seven new ones join the pool, the old ones got fairer, and the few that never really worked are gone.
End your turn in line with at least one ally.
After a kill, end your turn on a cell one of your victims stood on.
End every turn on the same diagonal as at least one ally.
Finish off every enemy in the same round.
End your turn in the line of sight of at least one enemy.
Every enemy must be next to an obstacle when it dies.
End your turn next to an obstacle. Holes and map edges count.
These eight are no longer offered:
The in-game Knowledge Base lists every challenge that can come up, with its conditions.
Dungeon reopened
Deep under Pandala, the fox spirits have been waiting. The Firefoux Dungeon now has a full route from the gate to its boss, Peki Peki.
Peki Peki carries a Boss Token of its own.
Dungeons & bosses
The old mazes, lever puzzles, trap tiles and "stand on this tile" tricks are now straight paths. Fights and keys stay the same.
The Giant Kralove no longer needs a full team on its tiles: you can go through alone. Beating the Kralove or the Fungus Dungeon boss now takes you to the right exit.
Twelve more bosses carry a Boss Token, from Dark Vlad and Le Chouque to Peki Peki. Beat one and every winner gets its token: a 100% drop, whatever your prospecting.
At Kat Zino's machine, hover over a prize to see its level, set, conditions and stat ranges before you spin.
The four Kwakere nests of the Crackler mountains are back. Walk up to a nest and its Kwakere attacks: it can drop the Bwak egg of its element. After a fight, a nest stays empty for 5 minutes.
Guilds
Open your guild window: there is a new Treasury tab. Everyone chips in, the leaders spend it on the whole guild.
Fights
Turn order, monster brains, weapons and speed: the fight engine got a long overdue tune-up.
Monsters used to have zero initiative, so you always played first. Now turn order uses the Initiative on your character sheet, scaled by your current life, and monsters use their own.
Hit-and-run monsters such as Prespics attack first, then back off once instead of wandering around. Monsters that can buff now attack first when they can.
A speed button next to the fight options switches between 1x, 1.5x and 2x. It only speeds up your own screen, and monster turns end sooner for everyone.
With your weapon selected, hover a fighter: the damage card now shows what your weapon would deal, critical hits included.
Items
Weapons now deal 100% of their damage for every class. The old class penalty (90% for most weapon types) is gone: pick the weapon you like, not the one your class tolerates.
Check any shield's new stats in the in-game Encyclopedia.
Quality of life
Click a resource with the right tool equipped and you start harvesting at once, no menu. Hold Shift for the menu. Keep clicking to queue up to 30 resources.

Right-click any item (inventory, bank, chests, shops) and choose Where to find…: the monsters that drop it with their rates and zones, and whether it is harvested, crafted or sold.

Past level 200, your experience now raises an Omega level, up to 100. It is cosmetic, with titles at Omega 10, 25, 50 and 100: Initiate, Adept, Master and Legend.
Characters gain one more Action Point at level 200: 8 AP in total.
Your life now regenerates while you are offline, at the standing rate of 1 HP every 2 seconds.
Beastmaster Orla at the Astrub zaap [4,-19] now teaches Control Summons to every class: play your summons' turns yourself.
A zaap trip costs 10 kamas per map of distance (at least 10), for everyone. A trip between zaaps 8 maps apart costs 70 kamas.
Interface
The guild ranks, the guild treasury, the Encyclopedia and the bug report window were redrawn in the native Dofus Retro style: same parchment, same buttons, same fonts.
Website
The leaderboard now shows each character's class head, the title they wear and their Omega level.
Questions
The launcher updates your client automatically the next time you open it. Nothing to reinstall.
Gardener, Barbaric, Gravedigger, Casino Royal, Arachnophile, Clean hands, Pighead and Unpredictable are no longer offered. The in-game Knowledge Base lists every challenge that can come up, with its conditions.
Every account here has full access, so the old flat fare for subscribers made every zaap cost 10 kamas. Fares now follow the distance, like the original game: 10 kamas per map, at least 10.
Use the Bug button in the chat bar, or type .bug followed by your text in the chat. The more detail, the faster it gets fixed.
Open the launcher, let it update, and pick a fight.
