The new class

Born in the Source

Bellaphones were born in the Source, the cradle of life older than the gods, where the six Primordial Dofus were kept. They pledge allegiance to no god: each one is bound to a spectral dragon of one of the six lineages. Source caster, Fire, Water and Air, playable from level 1. Bellaphones are always female.

Passive: Echoes of the Six

  1. Strike

+1 Resonance when the direct damage of a Bellaphone spell takes HP off an enemy.

  2. Alternate

+1 more, once a turn, when the spell's element differs from the last one that gave you Resonance. Fire, then Water, then Fire.

  3. Spend

Dragon's Flight, Resonant Pulse and Depths Uncoiled spend 3, First Dawn spends 6, before their damage: an extra hit or effect, and the spend bonus of your lineage.

  4. Switch

Every fight starts in Crimson. Dragon's Covenant switches lineage and gives +1 Resonance. You gain at most 3 Resonance a turn.

The core

Resonance and the six lineages

Build Resonance with your hits, spend it on your strongest spells, and pick the lineage that fits the moment. Each lineage has a power while it is active and a bonus when you spend.

You can see the lineage. In a fight your scales and trims take the colours of the active lineage, for everyone in the fight. Out of a fight you show Crimson; the colours you chose for your character are kept.

The echo drake Cosmetic companion

A small spectral drake in your lineage's colours follows you while you wear no pet. It is not a summon: it never fights and takes no place on the battlefield.

The spell book

21 spells and a Dopple

You start with Dragon's Covenant and three attacks, one each in Fire, Water and Air, then get marks, jumps and spenders as you level. Select a spell to see all its ranks on the Classes page.

Chosen element: Resonant Pulse and Sixfold Verdict hit in Fire in Crimson, in Water in Turquoise, and otherwise in the higher of your Intelligence and Chance. The spell's tooltip shows the element that will apply.

Every spell resonates: each spell has one more effect with enough Resonance (counted when you start the cast) or in one lineage: bigger areas, extra base damage, +1 range on Gale Feather, a longer Turquoise Wake in Turquoise, a heal on Tailwind Hymn in Emerald, an MP back on Shamal in Ochre and more. The tooltips show each one.
